The mids come from what University called their "diffusicone," which is roughly the equivalent of a 6" speaker-in-a-speaker, held away from the vibrations of the big main cone by a metal facing structure. The woofer is the outer main cone, and the the exponential horn in the center is a super tweeter. The speaker has three separate drivers in one loudspeaker. Conservatively rated to handle 30 watts RMS per channel maximum. ![]() They have an "open baffle" design, which allow the speakers to sound good no matter where they are placed. ![]() ![]() Rated at "8-16 ohms," they do not place much of a load on your amplifier. The wood is Gorgeous with one dent in the front.Įven a small vacuum tube amplifier can fill the room with sound because of the high efficiency of the speakers.
